Tony Tipton has spent his entire career in the flooring industry — starting as a salesman in 1994, going on to work with Floor Play Ceramics, B&B Carpet Consultants, Henson Flooring, and Walberry Tile & Marble before founding Tee's Flooring in 2005.
When the 2005 economic downturn squeezed homeowners' budgets, Tony saw an opportunity: skip the expensive showroom, go direct to distributors, and bring samples straight to customers' homes. Nearly 20 years later, that model is still the core of everything Tee's Flooring does.
Tony is a lifelong Central Ohio resident, a Westerville South High School graduate, and a dog person — Inspector Reno, the company mascot, is named after his German Shepherd who passed away in 2018.

Tony founded Tee's Flooring on a simple premise: customers make better decisions when they see samples in their own home, under their own lighting, against their own walls. No overhead. No pressure. And margins that let him beat Home Depot on price.
When Reno passed away on June 1, 2018, Tony turned an old photo of his dog wearing glasses into a company mascot. "Inspector Reno" now appears on every job as the quality standard Tony sets for himself.
